From today, university students in Italy can access a pension fund under preferential conditions, giving them the opportunity to enter the social security system earlier than usual. The initiative is promoted by Fast Forward Foundation as part of the Uwelfare project, in partnership with the assetmanagement company Euregio Plus SGR S.p.A.
Sergio Lovecchio, Director of Euregio Plus SGR S.p.A., added: "Promoting supplementary pensions among young people is a key goal of our Pension Fund, especially given the low participation rates in Italy. Raising awareness and educating university students about pensions is essential to help them understand the importance of contributing early and consistently, to bridge future pension gaps. Thanks to Fast Forward Foundation’s Uwelfare project, finance becomes an ally in policies aimed at improving the well-being of new generations.”
